====== Adding Elements ======

To add a new configuration element of any type:

  - Click on a node in the Elements Tree that represents the collection of elements of the required type – for example, to add a new process click on Processes; to add a new business object click on Business Objects (the version that you are adding to must be in the ''NEW'' state– see [[2500_config_apps:0200_work_bsv:0100_bsv_lifecycle|Lifecycle of a Business Space Version]])
  - Select the “File/New” command from the menu or right click to bring up the pop-up menu and select "New". The editor appropriate to the given type of element will be displayed in the Working Area of the screen.
  - Specify properties specific to the element being added in the editor and/or in the properties of the element and its sub-elements. When finished press the Save button in the toolbar (or select File/Save from the menu) to save the new element in the business space version or close the editor tab to discard the changes.
