====== Deleting Elements ======

To delete an element of any type:

  - Click on the element’s node in the Elements Tree to select it (the element must belong to a business space version in the ''NEW'' state – see [[2500_config_apps:0200_work_bsv:0100_bsv_lifecycle|Lifecycle of a Business Space Version]])
  - Select the “Edit/Delete” command in the menu or right click to bring up the pop-up menu and select “Delete”.

<callout type="primary" icon="true" title="note"> Certain elements of a business space version may not be deleted. This applies to those elements that are added to the business space version automatically and are required for the business space version to operate correctly. Examples of such elements are the ''RegularUser'' business object and the ''SystemUsers'' business objects group. An attempt to delete such an element will result in an error message.</callout>
