====== Introduction ======

The purpose of this document is to show how to configure  real world business applications using //**AwareIM**//. The document aims to serve as a studying and reference material for anyone who wants to configure business applications using //**AwareIM**// – it contains many practical examples, configuration and operation patterns and demonstrates the key features of //**AwareIM**//.

The document has a format of a case study – it explains how to design and configure a particular business application (the software system to operate a public library). It covers all aspects of the application creation – from requirements to configuration and testing.

The document should be read in conjunction with the //**AwareIM**// documentation – in particular, [[:2000_concepts]], [[:2500_config_apps]] and [[:3000_rule_language|AwareIM Rule Language Reference]].
