===== Calculated attribute =====

A [[ref:glossary:configurator|configurator]] may nominate an [[ref:glossary:attribute|attribute]] as calculated, meaning that the attribute can be updated in the [[ref:glossary:operation_mode|operation mode]] only by a [[ref:glossary:rule|rule]], but not by users. For more flexible access control to attributes the configurator may use [[ref:glossary:access_level|access levels]] and the ''[[ref:a_f:a:protect|PROTECT]]'' [[ref:glossary:action|action]].
