A custom form is an [[ref:glossary:object_form|object form]] that the [[ref:glossary:configurator|configurator]] can design to replace an [[ref:glossary:auto_generated_form|auto-generated form]] that //**[[ref:glossary:aware_im|AwareIM]]**// supplies by default for [[ref:glossary:business_object|business objects]]. With custom forms the configurator has the freedom of choosing the layout, background, fonts, colors and other visual elements for displaying and editing of [[ref:glossary:attribute|object attributes]].
