===== Required attribute =====

The [[ref:glossary:configurator|configurator]] may specify that a value must be provided for an [[ref:glossary:attribute|attribute]], in other words it cannot be empty. In this case //**[[ref:glossary:aware_im]]**// will check the value of the attribute whenever the [[ref:glossary:business_object|business object]] (or [[ref:glossary:notification|notification]]) is created or updated in [[ref:glossary:operation_mode|operation mode]] and disallow the operation if the attribute value is undefined.
